By doing this, you are creating a network of close friends that will consciously keep you motivated towards your goals. You will prove to them and yourself that you can and will quit smoking cigarettes.



Informing your close friends and family, greatly reduces your chances of slipping up and increases your chances of success. Your friends will keep you motivated, on track and headed in the right direction.

Ask assistance from a select few who you see on a daily or weekly basis and get them to check in on you from time to time. Quitting with a partner or a close friend is another avenue to take, although you have to ensure that they truly want to quit also.
